The characteristics of Islamic economics

Not much is mentioned in the Qur'an, and only the basic principles only. For reasons that are very precise, the Qur'an and Sunnah lot of talk about how Muslims should behave as producers, consumers and owners of capital, but only a little about the economic system. As revealed in the discussion above, in Islamic economics should be able to provide the widest opportunity to every business. In addition, Islamic economics emphasizes four characteristics, among others:

1. Unity
2. equilibrium
3. free will
4. responsibility


Humans as a deputy (caliph) of God in the world is not likely to be individualistic, because all the (wealth) that is on earth belongs to God alone, and man is the belief in the earth. In running the economy, Islam is forbidden usury activities, which in terms of language means "excess". In the Qur'an surah Al Baqarah verse 275 stated that people who eat (take) usury. Riba is of two kinds: nasiah and fadhi. Riba nasiah more payment is required by those who lend. Riba fadhi is exchange of goods with similar goods, but higher because people who exchange
